if you live in the newport, rhode island area have you signed up for the casey farm easter egg hunt, yet? it takes place on saturday, april 23rd at 10:30 am. i have never been, but i have heard great things about it. they use fresh eggs from casey's farm and the kids can visit the chickens, chicks and piglets. the picture above is from this historic farm in saunderstown, rhode island that stretches over 300 acres  from the narragansett bay to the pettaquamscutt river. i'm so excited to go! get your tickets here.

also, the jane pickens theater in newport, rhode island is hosting a royal wedding breakfast and screening on the big movie screen in HD on friday, april 29th at 5 am. do you remember where you were when princess diana and prince charles got married? i do! kate and william's wedding seems likes it going to be one of those memorable events  that would be fun to commemorate with a gathering of friends and family. it would mean a really early morning, but with croissants, smoked salmon, and wedding cake i am game. it's my party is doing the wedding cake and "wedding dress" cookies (she's the fabulous baker that did cupcakes for karoline + rory's 2nd birthday party)
