paper garland

spotted these paper garlands on hege greenall-scholtz's blog. she did all the window designs and made the paper garland for grasse's windows (a store in the UK). i don't have a sewing machine*, but i would love to get one to make pretty garland like this. would look great in a house that is using natural colors for christmas. oh, and i'm always a sucker for simple white wrapping paper or brown kraft paper tied with string.

*side note: heard directly from hege greenall-scholtz and she said that the garland's are easy to make with a circle hole-punch. if you don't have a sewing machine, you could always use double sided tape and stick two circles together on either side of string. or double over so it makes half circles. thanks so much for the great ideas, hege!!
