hiking at monhegan

miles of hiking paths lined with evergreens, moss, ferns and rugged cliffs beg for exploration. that is exactly what we did on our day trip to monhegan island. the girls were troopers and came along for the adventure, muddy pink converse and all. we saw the remains of the rusted ship wreck by lobster cove and then hiked the burnt head trail where we saw the rocky cliffs. natural beauty everywhere you turned.

  3. Love your photo diary. Worn surfaces. Complicated landscapes. Smiling faces. Signs that you and your tribe are at home in Maine.
