winter in rockport, mass.

josh and i took a day trip to rockport, mass. the place we got married 6+ years ago. i think it's the first time we have been there with a dusting of snow. it's a breath of fresh air making that one hour drive north away from the stress and conjestion of the city. we gradually decompress as we drive north. looking at the ocean, hearing the waves, smelling the salt water and seaweed, and watching the shorebirds dip in and out of the water. so calming.
