memorial day weekend in maine

i'm a worrier. i think it's in my blood. sometimes i wake up in the middle of the night and can't sleep because the littlest things are exaggerated in my mind. exercise helps it. and being in maine helps too. my worries about the future and soul searching for what the next step is after being a stay-at-home mom seem to subside when we are surrounded by nature's beauty.

  1. love the look and feel of these pictures. The two stacked rocks are amazing, wow. The round one feels like the whole earth. xx

  3. I know *exactly* what you mean. Stepping out into the woods or walking along the beach just makes me exhale and forget to worry for a little while...

  4. I may be a worrier too. It has gotten better since my daughters have gotten older. Being out in the countryside or near the ocean calms me and lets off some of the steam that builds up in my brain.
Glad you had a good Memorial day weekend. It must have been cold in Maine. We were on an island further South and our teeth were chattering.
