i constantly daydream about summer cottages and how i would decorate one if i had a chance. the first thing i dream of doing in my hypothetical cottage would be to paint the floors and walls white, decorate in a minimalist and very edited way, and use hudson's bay blankets on the beds. well, julie and john baker (the owners of mjolk in toronto) are living my dream and have done exactly that in their family summer cottage on the georgian bay in canada. looks like the perfect place to relax, read a book, sip a gin and tonic, and wake up early to go kayaking on the water with the hopes of seeing some loons. love the simplicity about this place! to see more photos go to kitka.
