museum of art. rhode island school of design.

we decided to head into providence on sunday to check out the risd art museum. and it did not disappoint. do not be deceived by the unassuming and small entrance. there are six buildings to explore and even an outdoor garden.it really is one of providence's hidden gems. we were blown away by the breadth of the art and how well it was maintained.  84,000 objects total. we will be returning soon. i can't believe it took us two years to get here. i love this place!

    How lovely to read about a place that I was so fond of! We used to love going there, and I recall they had some fun things on Thursday nights, some kind of art night at all the museums and galleries.

    Hi Molly-Thanks for the camera info- Read your post about your car accident. SO glad you are ok. I know what you mean....I had a minor accident in April and it has made me so scared to drive. We are only now getting our car back. Was your van a total loss?

    hi rach! it shakes you up a bit? doesn't it? glad you are okay too!! $7000 worth of damage on our mini van (thank goodness for car insurance). they said 10-14 days for the repairs. so we have a rental car. josh got a behemoth of a truck so i would feel safer driving this week. talk to you soon!-mol
