daffodil days and a fairy festival at blithewold mansion and gardens in bristol, ri was occurring this sunday. how can you deny twin four-year-olds this delight? so the girls put on their fairy costumes with crowns made from pipe cleaners, tape and weeds found around the yard and off we floated to take in the sights. our favorite thing was building the fairy houses but, darn that fairy dust. i have been vacuuming all morning and it doesn't want to be expunged.
this is my creative outlet. my family and i followed our hearts to maine and moved to an old house outside of portland a year ago. when i am not taking care of my twin girls, you might find me writing little love notes to my husband, sipping on green tea, taking photos of nature's beauty and dreaming of well curated spaces. it's the simple pleasures in life that make me happy.
