the fact that we live in rhode island and rarely get to experience snow made our trip to maine even more special for the girls. the first time we got out of our car when it was snowing they put their little tongues out to catch snowflakes. my kids like to experience snow in every way possible. taste it, touch it, roll around in it, make snow angels in it.
we decided to build a fire in my parent's fire pit and roast marshmallows. we have not made s'mores in a long time so the girls were happy as can be.
